The role demands an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and clinical proficiency in IVs, wound care, and procedural monitoring. 1+ year of related nursing experience is preferred; RCIS is a plus and duties include

Qualifications

• RN with active license (RN)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• RCIS preferred
• 1+ year nursing experience in a related specialty preferred
• Education according to unit/state requirements
• Ability to work night/weekend PRN shifts
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and patient education

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications, IVs, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning needs
• Maintain accurate nursing charts and records
• Manage patient flow and staffing within unit needs
• Document procedures and outcomes accurately
• Demonstrate competency in radiation safety and interventional cardiology procedures
