Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure and basic life support.
• ACLS and RCIS preferred but not required.
• Associate degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in invasive cardiology or acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions including IVs, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintains thorough patient charts and documents status and outcomes timely.
• Manages patient flow by aligning nursing competencies with unit needs.
• Delivers care with respect for patient preferences and cultural differences.
• Supports training of new staff after achieving independence in roles.
