Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Colorado. The role requires 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM) with inpatient cardiology cases, and Epic EMR familiarity. Board certified in Interventional Cardiology is required; Colorado license or IMLC is acceptable at submission.

DEA registration is highly preferred for credentialing. Malpractice insurance is arranged by AMN, and travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation are provided to

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology is required.
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC is acceptable at submission.
• DEA registration is highly preferred for credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology procedures for inpatient care.
• Manage 24-hour on-call coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM).
• Coordinate with advanced practice providers for rounds when available.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Type of Cases and Required Procedures: General Cardiology, interventional cardiology procedures. Advanced practice provider support available for weekday morning rounds.

Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days for temporary privileges; 60–90 days for full credentialing.

Electronic Medical Record: Epic.

Certifications Required: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology. Drug Enforcement Administration registration highly preferred and required for credentialing.

Licensure Required: Active Colorado medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification at submission.
