Job summary

AMN Healthcare is assisting a Washington facility in locating an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support. The candidate will work a Monday–Friday outpatient clinic with a call schedule, typically 8 hours per day from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Credentials include ACLS, ATLS, BLS per AHA, and DEA license; WA license or IMLC accepted. Expect ~90 days for credentialing; Epic is the EMR used at the facility. Competitive pay and travel support provided through AMN.

Qualifications

• Must have Interventional Cardiology experience with general cardiology skills.
• ACLS, ATLS and BLS certifications required per American Heart Association.
• Active Washington license or IMLC acceptable; credentialing ~90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology care in outpatient clinic with call rotation.
• Work Monday–Friday in 8-hour clinic days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Coordinate licensure, credentialing and EMR documentation in Epic.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity

Schedule: Monday-Friday outpatient clinic; provider works 8-hour clinic days within clinic hours of 7:00 AM-5:00 PM and a call schedule.

Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with call coverage.

Type of Cases and Required Procedures: General Cardiology with preference for Interventional Cardiology experience.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days.

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic.

Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) though American Heart Association, Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)

Licensure Required: Active Washington license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
