Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support in a acute care hospital setting. The role involves a 24-hour call schedule (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.) with on-site duties and a credentialing timeframe of 45 days.

The facility performs diagnostic catheterization and low-risk PCI, along with TEE, echocardiography, and nuclear testing. The ideal candidate is Board Certified or within five years post-fellowship if Board Eligible, and must be ready to provide

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified or within 5 years post-fellowship if Board Eligible.
• Experience in interventional cardiology procedures and catheterizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage.
• Perform diagnostic catheterization and low-risk PCI.
• Utilize TEE, echocardiography, nuclear testing as part of patient assessment.

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & Requirements for this opportunity

• Schedule: 24-hour call; 7:00a-7:00a
• Job Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Inpatient
• Types of Cases: Diagnostic catheterization and we are a low-risk Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Center. We also do Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE); Echocardiogram (echo); Nuclear and Treadmill Stress Tests
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days
• EMR: eCW, Meditech, PK
• Must be Board Certified or within 5 years post-fellowship if Board Eligible
