Job summary

Nuvance Health Med Practice CT in Danbury, CT seeks an experienced APRN/PA to support the Interventional Cardiology program. You will assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, manage pre- and post-procedure care, and participate in 24/7 on-call coverage.

The role requires proven clinical expertise in invasive cardiac procedures, ACLS proficiency, and accurate documentation of findings, orders, and discharge instructions under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA license required.
• Experience with invasive cardiac procedures.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong history taking and data interpretation.
• Ability to work 24/7 on-call.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-procedure patient management and orders.
• Provide pre-procedure education and obtain consent.
• Perform daily rounds and document progress notes.
• Evaluate patient status and order meds/tests.
• Consult supervising physicians to ensure satisfaction.
• Administer IV meds and assist with invasive lines.
• Provide post-procedure discharge instructions and documentation.
• Follow ACLS protocols for complications.
