Job summary

The University of Washington School of Medicine, Harborview Medical Center, invites applications for a full-time interventional cardiologist on the Clinical Practice Track. The appointment will be at Harborview with ranks Assistant, Associate, or full Professor commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will perform interventional procedures in the catheterization lab, see patients in outpatient clinics, and rotate on the inpatient service.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certified/eligible in interventional cardiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Washington.
• USMLE steps completed for visa sponsorship if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional procedures in the catheterization lab.
• See patients in the outpatient clinic and rotate on the inpatient service.
• Echo reading is possible if desired.
• Teaching activities for cardiology fellows (didactic and hands-on).
• Opportunities in quality improvement, clinical research and community outreach.
