Job summary

The Cardiac Cath lab/Interventional Radiology Nurse at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital provides skilled nursing care and manages patient care within the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology services.

This role supports Cardiology and Interventional Radiology, with duties across perioperative care, conscious sedation, and cardiac monitoring as needed. Requires BSN or related degree (ASN acceptable in lieu).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related Bachelor of Healthcare degree. ASN may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and assessment using the Watson Model of Care.
• Coordinate care with Cardiology, Radiology and perioperative teams.
• Administer medications including vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drugs.
• Assist with procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Document care in the IPOC following unit policies and procedures.
