Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist PRN in Butte, MT to provide 24/7 on-call PCI services with a team of hospitalists and cath lab staff. The role includes on-site hours, trauma center environment, and a focus on STEMI/NSTEMI care with comprehensive patient management.

The position requires MD/DO training, ACGME residency in interventional cardiology, ABMS certification or eligibility, and Montana licensure or eligibility, plus BLS and DEA credentials.

Responsibilities

About this role

As a Physician in Interventional Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide seamless 24-7 On call services, and work with our hospitalists who manage adult inpatient population and a12 bed ICU.

• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Group & St. James Hospital in Butte, MT
• This position includes a daily rate of $1,320/24 hours on call and $346 per on-site hour

• Multiple year Platinum Awards recipient for Chest Pain MI Registry
• Heli-Pad onsite

• Cover all patients (assigned, unassigned, etc.) 24/7 STEMI- average 4 STEMI/month
• Broader spectrum of services including NSTEMI care Echo and EKG reads Stress Testing Volumes are low

What you’ll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA

We have Life Flight services available 24-7-365 to receive & transport patients as needed. We offer comprehensive, specialty care, including da Vinci Robotics surgery.
