The Heart Institute at Stony Brook Medicine seeks an outstanding interventional and consultative cardiologist to help expand cardiovascular services on the East End of Long Island. This is an academic opportunity with leadership in patient care and program development.

The successful candidate will lead a growing cardiology practice and interventional service, provide STEMI call coverage, and participate in echocardiography, TEEs, and imaging interpretation while enjoying a high quality of life

Qualificações

• MD/DO or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent) required.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead growth of a general cardiology practice and interventional service.
• Provide independent STEMI call coverage at a full-service hospital with dedicated cath lab team.
• Balance outpatient and inpatient cardiology care and noninvasive diagnostics.
• Interpret echocardiograms, TEEs, and cardiac imaging.
