Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT is seeking a Physician in Interventional Cardiology to join a team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with 24/7 on-call coverage.

You will operate in a Level III trauma center with two cath labs, where you’ll read Echo and EKG, participate in NSTEMI/PCI care, and collaborate with hospitalists and a skilled team. A competitive package includes base salary plus wRVU incentives, sign-on, relocation, and loan repayment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a fully accredited medical school
• ACGME accredited residency in Interventional Cardiology
• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Montana medical license, or ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 on-call interventional cardiology coverage
• Read Echo and EKG interpretations; participate in NSTEMI/PCI care
• Collaborate with hospitalists, cath lab team and support staff
• Cover assigned and unassigned patients as needed
• Manage STEMI cases with the 4/month average workload

About this role:

As a Physician in Interventional Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide seamless 24-7 On call services, and work with our hospitalists who manage adult inpatient population and a12 bed ICU.

• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Group & St. James Hospital in Butte, MT

• Call is 1:3, with excess call paid out at $1320/24 hour shift

• Level 3 Trauma Center

• ACC Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI

• Multiple year Platinum Awards recipient for Chest Pain MI Registry

• Heli-Pad onsite

• Impella onsite

• 2 Cath Labs with highly skilled team

• Cover all patients (assigned, unassigned, etc.)

• 24/7 STEMI-average 4STEMI/month

• Broader spectrum of servicesincludingNSTEMIcare

How we'll support you:

Compensation: We offer a generous package that includes a base salary plus a wRVU incentive.

• $725,000.00 Annual Base Salary

• wRVU incentive of $65/wRVU paid after 10,180 threshold is reached

• Call Burden is ~1:3, with excess call paid out at $1320/24 hour shift

• $25,000.00 Sign-On

• $10,000.00 - $20,000 Relocation(if eligible)

• $100,000.00 towards Student Loan Balance(if eligible)
