Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT seeks an Interventional Cardiologist to provide 24/7 on-call coverage within a Level III Trauma Center supported by two cath labs. You will collaborate with hospitalists managing adult inpatients and an intensive care unit, perform Echo/EKG reads, and contribute to NSTEMI/STEMI care.

The role requires MD/DO, ACGME residency in Interventional Cardiology, ABMS cert or eligibility, Montana license, BLS and DEA, with credentialing support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• ACGME accredited residency training in Interventional Cardiology.
• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active Montana medical license or the ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification and DEA.
• Ability to successfully complete credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide seamless 24/7 on-call on interventional cardiology coverage.
• Collaborate with hospitalists for adult inpatient care and ICU management.
• Read Echo/EKGs and perform stress testing; manage NSTEMI/STEMI care.
• Participate in credentialing and quality initiatives.

About this role:

As a Physician in Interventional Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide seamless 24-7 On call services, and work with our hospitalists who manage adult inpatient population and a12 bed ICU.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Group & St. James Hospital in Butte, MT
• This position includes a daily rate of $1,320/24 hours on call and $346 per on-site hour

• Multiple year Platinum Awards recipient for Chest Pain MI Registry
• Heli-Pad onsite
• Impella onsite

• Cover all patients (assigned, unassigned, etc.)
• 24/7 STEMI- average 4 STEMI/month
• Broader spectrum of services including NSTEMI care
• Echo and EKG reads
• Stress Testing
• Volumes are low
