Job summary

VitalSolution in Safford, AZ, seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a physician-led team delivering comprehensive cardiology services. The role features a block schedule (7 days on/7 days off) with 182.5 days/year and a 1–3 year contract, emphasizing quality patient outcomes and collaborative care with APPs, PCPs, and hospitalists.

Responsibilities include outpatient clinic management, lipid/hypertension care, FFR/iFR/IVUS/Nuclear cardiology, TEE, and stress testing

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• Maintain licensure and credentialing as needed.
• Experience with high-volume PCI practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology clinic oversight and patient management.
• Lipid and hypertension management within cardiology practice.
• Provide 24/7 call during block schedule.
• Perform or supervise FFR, iFR, IVUS, nuclear cardiology studies, and TEE.
• Supervise or interpret stress testing.
• Cardioversion, IABP, Temporary Pacemakers.
• Pacemaker implants and peripheral interventions (preferred).
• Thrombectomy (preferred).
• Collaborate with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists, Interventionalists.

Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
