Location: MONONGEHALA, PENNSYLVANIA

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our team at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, a growing and financially stable healthcare system with 9 hospitals across 26 counties in Pennsylvania.

Position Details

Located 25 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, PA, the role involves performing various interventional cardiology procedures, including:

• Coronary Angiograms and Cardiac Catheterizations (Left and Right Heart)
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Balloon Angioplasty
• Stent Implantation
• Atherectomy
• Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)
• Hemodynamic Assessments with Pressure Wires
• Pulmonary Artery Pressure Monitoring Device Implantation
• Peripheral Angiograms (lower extremity, renal, carotid)
• Emergency procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, pericardiocentesis, and mechanical heart pump insertions (e.g., intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella) for acute cases like heart attacks and cardiogenic shock.
