Job description

Seeking a qualified BE/BC General Cardiologist to join a talented team!

About the Practice

The group has been providing exemplary cardiac care for patients in Somerset County and beyond for over 30 years. The department currently employs three full-time cardiologists: two non-invasive and one interventional. There are two physician assistants, with a third being added due to increased volume. An electrophysiologist (EP) sees patients weekly and performs procedures at the hospital, which also hosts a weekly pacemaker clinic.

The practice is conveniently located across from the hospital, facilitating easy inpatient and outpatient care. Non-invasive cardiologists rotate weekly between inpatient and outpatient services, supported by physician assistants. Hospital services include rounding, consults, TEE procedures, stress tests, echoes, and EKGs. Medical call duties are shared among cardiologists, with some weekend coverage by locums and physician assistants. The interventional cardiologist has been with the practice since 2016, and the medical cardiologists since 2019.

Technology and EMR

The outpatient practice uses Epic EMR, while the hospital currently uses Paragon Allscripts, with a planned transition to Epic.
