Job summary

VitalSolution in North Carolina is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a full-time position with a structured 7 days on/7 days off block schedule (182.5 days/year). You will handle outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and 24/7 call during blocks, including nuclear studies, TEE, and PCI procedures.

The role involves collaboration with cardiologists, APPs, and hospitalists to deliver high-quality care while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Board certification in interventional cardiology is required.
• State licensure facilitation is provided.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology clinic duties.
• Inpatient consults and 24/7 call during block schedule.
• Interpret nuclear cardiology studies and Echocardiography (TEE).
• Perform or supervise stress testing and imaging interpretations.
• Cardiac cath – diagnostic/PCI and peripheral interventions.
• Collaborate with general cardiologist, APPs, and hospitalists.

Interventional Cardiology Job in North Carolina – Flexible Block Schedule

Join a collaborative cardiology team dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular care, committed to advancing patient outcomes, strengthening multidisciplinary partnerships, and serving the growing needs of the community.

Cardiology Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off). 1-3 year contract.
• Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Outpatient cardiology clinic
  • Inpatient consults
  • 24/7 call during block schedule
• Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:
  • Nuclear cardiology studies
  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Echo Interpretation
  • Supervise or interpret stress testing
• Procedures:
  • Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PCI
  • Peripheral Vascular- Diagnostic/Intervention
  • Cardioversions
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with general cardiologist, APPs, and hospitalists

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
