Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Nursing Specialist in the Invasive Cardio Lab to support cardiac catheterization procedures in adult and geriatric patients.

You will assist laboratory physicians and RNs, provide direct patient care, and ensure safety and comfort during complex procedures within the hospital's Cardiology department.

Shadowing opportunities are available to learn more about the role, and you will work in a dynamic, high-acuity setting that emphasizes teamwork and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist License
• American Registry or Radiologic Technology Certification, or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist laboratory physicians and RNs in Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients consistent with Nursing Department policies.
• Maintain competency with interventional/electrophysiology equipment and procedures.
