Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a clinical support professional to assist laboratory physicians and RNs in Cardiac Catheterization procedures at the Invasive Cardio Lab. You will provide care to adult and geriatric patients while maintaining competency with interventional equipment.

Training will be provided in Interventional and Electrophysiology procedures. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and NYS Radiologic Technologist license (eligible) are required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years college or technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Will train in Interventional and Electrophysiology Procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist License or eligible; ARRT certification or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assists laboratory physicians and RNs in areas related to Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
• Provides care to adult or geriatric patients in line with Nursing Department and Hospital Administration policies.
• Shadowing in the department to learn more about the procedures.
