Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks an invasive cardiovascular technologist to assist in diagnostic interventional and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac and vascular labs under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, vascular access management, sterile field setup, life support and on-call response within 30 minutes, plus equipment maintenance and QA in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training or two years education in an allied health science and relevant on-the-job experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS or equivalent as required by the department.
• Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and respond to emergencies within 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiology and radiology studies; prepare patients and assist invasive procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hemodynamic equipment; process QA and on-call duties; transport patients as needed.
