Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced invasive cardiovascular technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac and vascular laboratory environments. You will work under direct supervision, support the physician, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities include scrub duties, monitoring, and maintaining equipment, with on-call duties requiring on-site availability within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited invasive cardiovascular technologist training program or two years of allied health education with relevant on-the-job training.
• Certification within specified timelines (RCIS/RCES or equivalent) as listed.
• Ability to respond on-site within 30 minutes of call and work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant or monitor/recorder for cardiology and radiology studies.
• Prepare and position patients for invasive procedures; assist with cardiovascular tests and record hemodynamic activity.
• Maintain sterile fields, operate monitoring equipment, and manage IV access and medications under supervision.
• Perform basic life support and be ready for on-call emergencies; troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with the team.
