Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking an Invasive Special Procedures Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures. You will assist cardiologists during angiographic and interventional studies, monitor vital signs, and ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnoses.

Role requires ARRT RT-R certification (CV/CI preferred), 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of imaging systems and safety procedures. On-site position with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RT-R, CVI/CI preferred.
• 1 year experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist; 2 years as an Invasive Special Procedures Technologist or completion of FH Cardiovascular Technologist Residency.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists during invasive angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor ECG and hemodynamic parameters.
• Transmit images to PACS for interpretation and permanent record.
• Administer contrast material under physician direction.
• Ensure proper equipment status and safety protocols.
