Job summary

UCI Health, part of the University of California, Irvine, seeks an experienced nurse to join our procedural unit serving Cardiac Cath, IR and Neuro IR. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans and support discharge planning.

The role requires one year of Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience, BSN, excellent English communication, and flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. You may float to all UCI Health locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Skilled nursing in a procedural area, with emphasis on accuracy and patient safety.
• Experience circulating and monitoring in interventional settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Cardiac Cath Lab, IR and Neuro IR; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement plans of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and readiness for discharge; participate in unit projects as needed.
• Mentor and resource to clinical staff; may serve as Patient Care Coordinator as requested; float to all UCI Health locations.
