Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's RWJUH Rahway Hospital is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for the Cardiac Catheter Lab. The role performs patient prep, operates diagnostic and interventional radiology equipment, and assists physicians during angiographic procedures in a fast-paced cardiac care setting.

The position is full-time, day shift, with an hourly pay range of $44.91–$55.62 in New Jersey; BLS and ACLS are required, RCIS preferred, and NJ CXT/ARRT credentials are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology school or CVT program.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures and explains the process.
• Operates fluoroscopy equipment and quality control.
• Calibrates and maintains equipment and applications for safe procedures.
• Assists physicians during angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Scrubs, circulates, or monitors as needed; prepares sterile trays.
