Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include educating patients, maintaining equipment, and participating in research projects.

The ideal candidate will have an Associates in Nursing, current RN licensure, and preferably pediatric experience. CPR, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required and must be obtained within specific time frames.

Qualifications

• Current State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Must obtain CPR training within 45 days of hire.
• Must obtain PALS and ACLS certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician in cardiac invasive and non-invasive testing.
• Educate patients and families.
• Participate in research projects.
• Maintain cardiac cath lab and diagnostic equipment.
• Contribute to quality assurance.
• Update cath lab policies and procedures.
