CHKD Medical Group is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist for the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters - Main Hospital. The role performs diagnostic/interventional procedures under physician supervision, maintains cath lab equipment, and participates in QA and research activities.

Requires RCIS within 6 months of hire, CPR/ACLS/PALS certification within specified timelines, and completion of a Cardiac Technology program.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Cardiac Technology program (A.S./B.S.).
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills for effective communication with physicians, nurses, clinicians and families.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures under supervision.
• Maintains cath lab equipment and adheres to QA programs and safety guidelines.
• Provides scrub, circulate, and monitoring support during catheterization/electrophysiology procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and reduces exposure through proper technique.
