VHC Health is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect nursing care for patients in a fast-paced cardiac lab setting.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, at least one year of acute care nursing, and active Virginia RN licensure or compact state licensure, plus mandatory BLS. ACLS and PALS certifications are required per policy, with ongoing de-escalation training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master's in Nursing required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required or Compact State Licensure in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS: ED, ICU, CVICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, ... (see policy)
• PALS: PACU/ED pediatric focus
• NRP: NICU/Mother Baby/Labor & Delivery
• De-escalation training as per policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care for assigned patients.
• Supervise assigned personnel.
• Adhere to department and hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in unit-specific competency requirements.
