Job summary

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory. You will support physicians, manage patient comfort, and handle equipment operation within the Cath Lab.

Requirements include a Cardiovascular Tech or Radiology Tech program and BLS; ACLS/ALS certification within 9 months; ARRT/RCIS certification within 9 months; and one year of interventional experience for Rad Tech ( Cardiovascular

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Cardiovascular Tech or Radiology Tech program.
• Rad Tech must have one year interventional experience; Cardiovascular Tech entry requires none.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologist/electrophysiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Provide patient comfort and well-being in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Operate cardiovascular equipment and perform related duties.
• Coordinate procedural inventory and liaise with physicians/companies.
• Participate in staff education and on-call rotation with 30-minute arrival.
