Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical in Georgia seeks a Cath Lab Technologist to assist physicians in invasive cardiac procedures using advanced radiographic and interventional equipment. Under supervision of the Director of Cardiac Services, you will deliver direct and indirect cardiovascular care and uphold infection control standards.

Candidates must complete RCIS or nursing/related program, have license(s) (RCIS, RN, RCES) and BCLS/ACLS, with 1 year relevant imaging/healthcare experience or RCIS graduate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RCIS program or graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology.
• 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience required, or no experience if RCIS graduate.
• Applicable licenses: RCIS or RN licensure; RCES; BCLS; ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in invasive cardiac procedures.
• Thorough knowledge ofCath Lab Equipment and maintenance; administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
