Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital in Michigan seeks a Cardiovascular Special Procedure Tech to assist physicians in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will operate radiographic and cardiovascular equipment, scrub for interventional cases, and document procedures.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT registration, or an equivalent health-science program, with RCIS certification within 2 years. BLS and ACLS within 6-12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT registration or RCIS certification within 2 years.
• Registration and maintenance of State of Michigan license in the appropriate discipline is required.
• BLS certification within six months and ACLS within one year are required or planned.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and operate radiographic and cardiovascular equipment.
• Scrub for interventional cases and circulate for diagnostic cases; record cases.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a high-stakes environment.
