Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrub and set techniques, and capture high-quality images. You will support the Imaging service line and collaborate with a team focused on innovation, advancement, and exceptional patient care.

This role requires maintaining licensure, working with IR equipment, ensuring patient safety, and following protocols for coding, charges, and informed consent.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at hire.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS required within 120 days of start.
• State licensure and/or certifications required.
• PALS required within 120 days for pediatric hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech, per Angio lab policies.
• Operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Prepares patient and verifies identity and orders.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and maintains safe environment.
• Adheres to medical necessity, coding, charging, and consent processes; reports equipment issues.
• Educates patients, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers after procedures.
• After procedure, manages sheath removal or hemostasis.

Education

ARRT - American Registry Upon Hire

BCLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS - within 120 Days

Relevant State Licensure and/or certifications

PALS - Pediatric Advanced within 120 Days (for pediatric hospitals)
