Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an Intervention Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an acute clinical setting. The role includes floating to different patient care areas as needed and following the nursing practice model under ANA standards.
Position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with 2–12 hour shifts from 7pm–7am. Certification pay applies; requirements include BSN within specified timeframe and current RN license with BLS/CPR and RN certification.
Nursing Administration
Provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. The Intervention Registered Nurse is responsible for the performance of diversified nursing functions in emergency or other unpredictable situations requiring additional nursing care in addition to the basic Registered Professional Nurse job description. The Intervention Registered Nurse is specially trained to float to any patient care area to meet the varying needs as assessed by the Administrative Supervisor.
This is a part time position, 24 hours per week.

Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $35.10, max of salary range is $54.10. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.
