Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical setting, guided by the SMHCS nursing practice model and the ANA Standards of Professional Practice.

The ideal candidate will have graduation from an accredited school of nursing, hold a current FL RN license, and meet or progress toward BSN per policy. Background checks and credential verification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN required for new hires after 2012 within specified timeframe as outlined in policy.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or diploma program.

Required Qualifications

• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Require graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.

Preferred Education

• BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Required License and Certs

• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
