Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a professional registered nurse to provide nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical setting, guided by our nursing practice model and the ANA Standards of Professional Practice.

Assigned to the Ultimate Float Team, the role requires BSN within the required timeframe, successful Basic Arrhythmia certification within 90 days, and an active Florida RN license, with preferred certification in a nursing specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or diploma program; BSN required within the specified timeframe as outlined in policy.
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Required Qualifications

Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
