Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for inpatient night shift opportunities at the Sarasota and Venice campuses. This is a full-time opportunity for experienced RNs.

Hourly pay starts at $34.10 with a max of $52.80, plus $1.50 certification pay. BSN preferred; NRP certification required within 90 days of hire; FL RN license and BLS CPR required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred within the specified timeframe.
• NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Maintain neonatal certifications obtained during employment (e.g., High Risk Neonatal Nursing, Neonatal Transport, etc.).
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Job Details:

This is a full time opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses.

Salary Details:

Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as an RN, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $34.10, max of salary range is $52.80. In addition to hourly rate, if candidate holds an approved certification position qualifies for certification pay of $1.50.

Required Qualifications

• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Require Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire in accordance with the NRP curriculum of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.
• Require any neonatal certification obtained during employment will be maintained during the remainder of employment. These include but are not limited to: High Risk Neonatal Nursing Certification, Neonatal Transport Certification, Child Passenger Safety Technician Certification, any Lactation Certification.

BSN: Bachelor of Science Nursing
