Job summary

Buckeye Elementary School District seeks a Paraprofessional B to support intervention and resource programs under teacher supervision. You will work with students with varying educational needs to implement IEPs and provide targeted instructional support.

The role includes supervising in classrooms and common areas, assisting with materials, aiding language development, and helping on field trips. This is a 10‑month, non-exempt position with 35.5 hours per week, ASRS participation.

Qualifications

• AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or obtained within 30 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification preferred.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Experience with children with various disabilities preferred.
• Adaptive equipment training may be required.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in regular classrooms, ESL, or special needs settings.
• Supervise playground, lunchroom, bus area as required.
• Assist with instructional materials and classroom setup.
• Support language development and help students acquire English.
• Maintain safety and order at duty stations.
• Attend classes and trainings to improve skills.
