Job summary

Wyoming Department of Corrections, Cheyenne Field Services Division, is seeking an Interstate Compact Specialist to process interstate transfers and monitor compliance for probationers and parolees. You will liaise with field agents, institutions, and other states to ensure timely, accurate transfers and enforcement of supervision requirements.

The role involves extensive documentation, training, and collaboration with judicial and criminal justice partners.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Social Services required.
• 0-2 years of progressive work experience in Adult Probation/Parole.
• Alternative: 2-4 years of progressive work experience in Adult Probation/Parole.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track caseload of Wyoming offenders transferred to other states.
• Verify payments of monetary obligations with Clerks of Court.
• Prepare affidavits, petitions, orders, and warrants.
• Provide information and training about ICAOS to agents and staff.
• Track offender movement across state lines and ensure ICAOS time compliance.
