Job summary

TVT Community Day School in Irvine, California seeks an athletics program coordinator to support the planning, development, and implementation of its interscholastic sports program under the Division Head, Athletic Director and Head Coach.

You will coach and supervise students at practices and games, develop conditioning programs, ensure health and safety compliance, and coordinate with administrators, trainers, and media outlets to share contest results.

Qualifications

Coaching knowledge for interscholastic programs.
Ability to teach athletic skills and sport-specific techniques.
Knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations.
Strong written and oral communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and coordinate the school site interscholastic sports program.
Supervise students during practice, games, and travel.
Provide teaching and instruction in athletic skill development.
Observe participants to detect and correct errors.
Enforce health and safety policies; implement conditioning programs.
Collaborate with administrators, athletic trainers, and community partners.
Review injuries and follow return-to-play protocols.
Ensure student-athletes are academically eligible and report results to media outlets.
