Job summary

Missouri Botanical Garden is seeking an energetic team member to develop and deliver engaging interpretive programming across our Garden spaces, including Children’s Garden and special exhibits. You will work to craft experiences that educate, delight, and inspire sustainable exploration among diverse visitors.

You will collaborate with Interpretation leadership, prepare materials, and help ensure safe, accessible, and high-quality learning experiences for guests of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• One to three years’ experience delivering engaging educational programs to diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation, public speaking, and written communication.
• Experience developing interpretive programs and experiential learning.
• English language proficiency and ability to work with visitors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement interpretive programming across Garden areas.
• Engage visitors with informative and interactive experiences.
• Maintain interpretive displays and resources.
• Provide visitor information and safety guidance.
• Assist with administrative tasks and coordinating tours.
• Participate in opening/closing duties and attend meetings.
