Job summary

Professional Facility Services LLC in Maryland seeks an Interpreter Services Coordinator to arrange spoken-language and ASL interpreting for claimant examinations, ensuring equitable access to the disability determination process.

You will identify interpretation needs at scheduling, coordinate qualified interpreters, and notify the District if services cannot be provided on time; you will also manage in-person vs remote interpreting and maintain a roster of qualified interpreters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience coordinating language access or interpreter services strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA/Title VI language access requirements.
• Strong vendor management and scheduling coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify claimant interpretation needs at the time of scheduling and arrange qualified spoken-language or ASL interpreters accordingly.
• Notify the District within 30 minutes if interpreter services cannot be provided at the scheduled appointment time.
• Reschedule appointments and/or notify the District when in-person (rather than remote) interpreting is required.
• Maintain a roster of qualified interpreters across languages commonly encountered in the claimant population.
• Track interpreter utilization and costs for reporting and invoicing purposes.
