• Provide professional interpretation services during various settings, including medical, legal, educational, and social services
• Ensure clear and effective communication by interpreting spoken words into ASL and ASL back into spoken language in real-time
• Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interpretation sessions
• Stay updated on developments in both ASL and English to ensure the highest quality of service and accuracy in interpretation

Qualifications

• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills in both languages
• Certification or qualifications in ASL interpretation preferred
