Job summary

Massachusetts Trial Court is hiring a Court Interpreter Scheduler to ensure LEP court users are scheduled for interpreter services across court events and programs. You will work under the Office of Language Access and coordinate with departments to maintain accurate, up-to-date schedules.

The role emphasizes scheduling accuracy, responsiveness to changes, and customer service in a union environment, with supervision by the Scheduler Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college is required.
• At least three years of related work experience; combinations may be considered.
• Experience with scheduling and coordination in a unionized environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assignment and scheduling of court interpretation and translation services for court operations.
• Identify operational problems and recommend scheduling revisions to the supervisor.
• Create and update assignments in OLA’s electronic scheduling system in real time.
• Provide customer service regarding interpretation services and scheduling to court departments.
• Verify interpreter assignments upon request.
