Job summary

Henry Ford Estate: Fair Lane seeks an Interpretations & Education Programs Manager to build and lead a team of 15–18 facilitators, develop training and evaluation for staff, and coordinate tours, events, and educational programs.

The role requires collaboration across departments, updating policies, and supporting revenue goals while aligning with the estate’s interpretive plan and mission.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams of 2+ years.
• Experience designing and evaluating educational programs for diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a facilitator staff cohort (15–18 part-time).
• Coordinate and implement tours, programs, and events.
• Develop training and evaluation programs for facilitators.
• Collaborate with departments to support interpretation and education goals.
• Oversee daily operations and scheduling of teaching spaces and content.
