Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking an Integrations Developer II to design, develop, implement, and support healthcare interoperability solutions, including HL7 interfaces, FHIR-based integrations, and APIs. You will work with Epic and other systems to ensure secure, timely data exchange across clinical and business workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; certifications in integration tools or cloud platforms preferred.
• 2–5 years’ experience in system development or data movement, or 3+ years in related operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop HL7 v2.x interfaces (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT).
• Build and maintain FHIR-based integrations and APIs.
• Troubleshoot interface and interoperability issues and perform testing/validation.
• Collaborate with IT staff, vendors and external organizations to support critical workflows.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and security requirements.
