The Weitz Company is offering internships and co-ops across project sites and offices nationwide, including locations in Des Moines, IA. Internships span Estimating/Preconstruction, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Supply Chain, Safety, Design, and VDC.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Must be currently pursuing a four-year degree.
• Experience: The candidate should have a basic understanding of construction, and previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.
• Skills: Communication, independent judgment, initiative, time management, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving are all necessary skills for this position.
• Technology: Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Employee should have the ability to learn other specific software (Asta, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
