Job summary

Mental Health Cooperative, Inc. in Nashville, TN, seeks an Early Talent Development Specialist/Manager to design, implement, and evaluate learning programs for interns and associates across the organization.

You will partner with colleges, educators, and leaders to build career pathways, oversee the internship program, recruit and place students, and drive continuous improvement in talent development.

This role emphasizes collaboration, compliance, and impactful training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, workforce development, talent management, partnerships with higher education, internship coordination, or employee development.
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License and acceptable MVR.
• Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation.
• Cell phone required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internship, practicum, and student placement programs.
• Build partnerships with colleges and universities and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, placement, orientation, and offboarding.
• Identify talent development needs with leaders and SMEs and implement learning solutions.
• Create learning pathways for interns and new hires to enable growth and development.
• Lead cross-functional projects to support associate growth and organizational learning.
