Job summary

Glazing Solutions, Inc. in St. Louis, MO is offering an internship for Summer 2027 within our glazing and construction team.

You will partner with project managers to support schedules, budgets, procurement, and field operations while gaining hands-on exposure to receiving, planning, and executing small-to-mid scale projects. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, with a focus on construction or engineering, and possess a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
• Foundational understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Strong problem solving with collaborative approach to diverse teams.
• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work is a plus.
• Creative, results-driven and able to work with urgency.
• Prior internship or project engineering experience on projects valued at $5M+.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.
• Physically capable of navigating active construction sites.
• Willing to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success

• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities
• You will have leadership and guidance to support project teams throughout all phases

• Physically capable of navigating active construction sites, including walking, climbing ladders, and accessing multi-floor scaffolding
• Fast-paced work environment—appropriate job site footwear and attire required
• Projects are located nationwide; travel may be required
