Responsibilities

• Advises and coaches students on internship exploration, planning, search and applications.
• Serves as liaison between employers seeking interns and academic departments.
• Collaborates with faculty to promote career events and internship programs.
• Plans workshops, orientations, events, and career fairs related to internships.
• Consults with academic disciplines to provide internship coaching and work-based learning guidance.
• Keeps current on trends and employer recruitment activities impacting student employability.
• Manages the internship approval process and maintains the database of internships and opportunities.
• Contributes to office and department-wide initiatives and programs.
