Job summary

Universal Orlando Internship Program seeks a student to support the Operational Finance team with data reporting and process automation. You will gain exposure to multiple operational areas and develop both hard and soft skills through collaboration and AI tools.

Key tasks include moving reporting to Power BI, building a forecast input tool, and handling ad hoc analyses while adhering to safety policies. The in-person role is based in Orlando, with paid compensation.

Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program:

JOB SUMMARY:

This role will provide support to the Operational Finance team with a focus on automating reporting, processes and analysis. The individual will gain knowledge of multiple operational areas and build both hard and soft skills through partnering, collaboration and utilization of AI tools.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner with Operational finance areas to transition existing reporting to Power BI.
• Work with Operational finance leader and FP&A to build an input tool that captures forecast updates.
• Complete special ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Senior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Preferred majors include: Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
• Pursuing or completing undergraduate program in finance or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tools such Power BI, ChatGPT, Copilot preferred.

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2027.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
