Job summary

Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program in Orlando invites motivated students to build a foundation in finance within a Fortune 500 context. You will work with finance professionals, gain exposure to accounts payable, vendor management, and financial reporting, and participate in hands-on projects to strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Finance team with account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support Accounts Payable with invoice review and audits.
• Update AP log and track invoices from vendors.
• Collaborate with Finance and Project Team on month-end close and financial updates.
• Assist with invoicing and translate invoices as needed.
• Enter data and verify transactions during close processes.
• Communicate with vendors on outstanding items.
• Perform data analysis for reporting as needed.

Job Summary

Build the foundation for a successful finance career as a Finance Intern with Universal Creative. In this role, you will collaborate with finance professionals, business partners, and vendors to support financial operations and accounts payable processes that help keep the business running efficiently.

Through hands‑on project work, you will gain exposure to a variety of finance functions within a Fortune 500 organization. You will assist with processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing vendor relationships, and supporting financial reporting activities while developing a practical understanding of financial operations and business processes. This internship offers an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment, build analytical and problem‑solving skills, and learn how financial teams support organizational success through effective planning, reporting, and operational excellence.

Major Responsibilities

• Assists Finance team with various account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Assists Accounts Payable team with invoice review and audits.
• Updates Accounts Payable log and tracks down invoices from vendors.
• Works with Finance and Universal Creative Project Team in completing month end close, financial update, and ad-hoc requests.
• Supports AP team with invoicing (including invoices that may require translation).
• Assists with month-end close, data entry, and verifying transactions.
• Communicates with vendors on outstanding items.
• Performs data analysis in data reporting as needed.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• In pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

• Preferred majors include: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or similar.
• Preferred coursework completed: Finance, Accounting, Math
• Microsoft Excel proficiency is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem‑solving abilities and organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Superior written & verbal communication skills.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.

Important Information

• This internship will be an in‑person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than August 2027.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
