Click here for more about Student Affairs. Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Three (3) years of full-time administrative work experience (student experience may be considered). Experience in higher education, public service, non profit or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Coaching experience. Experience developing programs for college audiences. Experience working with diverse populations. Experience managing/producing virtual meetings and events. Presentation experience to college/college educated audiences. Experience using databases and spreadsheets to track information and/or develop reports. Project management experience. Brief Description of Duties: The Internship Manager for Humanities and Social Sciences will develop and manage career development, internship and experiential learning initiatives for the College of Arts & Sciences and related academic departments, faculty, employers, alumni, and other campus and community partners. The position will expand access to meaningful, career-connected experiences for students across Humanities and Social Sciences disciplines and help students translate their academic learning into career opportunities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a growth mindset, strong work ethic, creativity, resourcefulness, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Special Notes: This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.
Salary: $65,000 + $4,000 Location Pay = $69,000 Total Compensation In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $4,000 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
Essential Position: This has been designated as an essential position based on the duties of the job and the functions performed. Positions that are designated as such may be required to report to work/remain at work even if classes are canceled, and the campus is working on limited operations in an emergency.
